A couple purchased two whale teeth with hand-craving etchings for $0.20 cents.
A decade later, Virginia and Paul Willards took the carved teeth to PBS' show "Antiques Roadshow."
An expert took a look at the pearly whites and declared they dated back to the early 1800's.
Soon after, the teeth Virginia purchased because she "like the etchings" sold for $17,400 and $18,560.
According to the Associated Press, the couple plans to use the money to finish building a new home. Their previous home was flooded by Hurricane Ivan.
