A Russian man bit off his friend's nose during a vampire game.

The two men - aged 23 and 27 - had met up for a few drinks in Moscow to celebrate the ten-day New Year holidays, when they started playing the game for fun.

However, after the amusing evening took a blood-sucking twist, one of the men - known as Aleksey K. - was rushed to his local hospital after the end of his nose was bitten off by his friend Oleg Z.

A surgeon said: "There was a lot of blood. The patient was saying that he was Count Dracula. When he came to his senses, he could not understand what happened to him. Now he will have a conspicuous spot on his face - his defected nose - for the rest of his life."

Medical professionals eventually managed to reattach his severed facial feature, but believe he will be scarred for life.
