A US taxi driver spent Christmas Eve (24.12.09) searching for a passenger who left $10,000 in his car.

When New York cabbie Mukul Asaduzzaman discovered the wodge of cash in the back on his vehicle during the festive period, he spent the rest of the day driving across the city in the hope of reuniting 72-year-old Felicia Lettieri with her fortune.

After travelling out to Long Island twice, he eventually found the woman at her home in Patchogue.

Felicia said: "It was so beautiful, so kind."

The driver - a pre-med student from Bangladesh - refused to accept any reward for his troubles.
