A wife in the Philippines watched her US home being robbed on webcam.

Maribel Chouinard was viewing footage of her husband Jim's home online when she witnessed three people breaking into the Oklahoma flat.

Maribel - who met her husband abroad and is living in the Philippines while her visa comes through - telephoned her husband to warn him of the break-in.

In turn, Air Force master sergeant Jim called the police who arrested two teens from near the scene of the crime and another suspect later on.

The husband and wife had been using the online camera to keep in touch until Maribel is able to move over permanently.
