A 90-year-old Swedish man faces a fine for buying sexual favor, which is illegal in Sweden.

According to a police official, the elderly man was identified among customers who last year had visited a brothel.

Sweden enacted a law in 1999 which makes it a criminal offense to purchase sexual favors. Swedish law does not punish the prostitute who offers these services, The Sydney Morning Herald reported.
