Three days after their first encounter, a 93-year-old man proposed to his 85-year-old girlfriend. And with their wedding expected to take place before the year ends, they are now set to become Britain's oldest newly-weds.

According to James Mason, the moment he met his Peggy Clark at a day-care center in Paignton, Devon, they both knew immediately that it was love at first sight.

In fact, Peggy describes the encounter as either a sort of miracle or a dream.

"I feel like I'm going to wake up in a minute," said Peggy.

Three days after the encounter, James delivered the coup d' grace, proposing marriage to Peggy.
