Four Australian men got in trouble with police after enjoying a naked car wash.

The men each paid $17 for a wash, stripped nude and scrubbed themselves down before getting their girlfriends to film what they were doing.

Police arrived mid-cycle after they were called by Smart Wash operators in the town of Biloela in Queensland state.

A spokesman said the naked car wash prank could have had much more dangerous consequences.

He said: "A car wash is for washing cars, not people."

The men - who were aged between 19 and 23 - were charged with exposure and public nuisance and are due to appear in court next month.
