Actors filming an armed robbery scene at a convenience store were perhaps a little too convincing. At least someone must have thought so, because a phone call to the police in North Andover, Massachusetts by a concerned citizen ended in the actors being told to drop their weapons and get down on the ground before they were handcuffed by local law enforcement.

FBI Arrests Houston Woman On Charges Of Kidnapping 5 Child Victims Of Hurricane Katrina

FBI agents arrested a Houston woman Thursday who refused to return five children victims of Hurricane Katrina to their mother and recovered the kids she allegedly kidnapped. Rhonda Tavey, 44, was at her mother's home in northwest Houston when authorities arrested her, her attorney, Dick DeGuerin, told Chron. com. She is now detained at the Harris County Jail without bail and will appear in court Friday to face charges of kidnapping.

Mom Sends YouTube Message To 'Ghost' Ex-Husband Pleading For Return Of Kidnapped Daughter

The London-based mother of a seven-year-old girl kidnapped by her enigmatic American ex-husband in the U. S. on Sunday has posted a video on the Internet appealing for the return of her daughter. "Clark, although many things have changed, you will always be Reigh's father and I will always be Reigh's mother. We both love her dearly and have only her best interests and well-being in our hearts. I ask you now, please please bring Snooks back. There has to be a better way for us to solve our differences than this way," Sandra Boss, 41, said on YouTube.

Rancher Finds "Space Junk" In Backyard

A local cattle rancher is reportedly investigating what he called "space junk": a chunk of metal, most likely a piece of a U. S. rocket, he found in his backyard. The rancher, James Stirton, found the black piece of metal at his place in Cheepie last year as he was checking his cattle.
