Nearly a dozen 7-Eleven convenience stores will wear a new face replicating the famed Kwik-E-Marts from "The Simpsons" cartoon. Kwik-E-Mart, which was designed in the show to poke fun at 7-Eleven Inc's more than 6,000 North American stores, features unhealthy snacks like Buzz Cola, KrustyO's cereal and Squishees -- a spin off of 7-Eleven's Slurpees.

Thailand on Friday holds the tenth annual Miss Tiffany Universe pageant. The beauty contest which brings on stage the most beautiful transvestites from all over the nation, is one of the country's most watched event with millions of viewers. Started as a transsexual cabaret in Pattaya, a resort town about 68 miles southeast of Bangkok, the show has evolved into a full fledged national competition, whose winner like any traditional beauty contest is beset with loads of prizes and contracts with advertising firms.

A new survey has uncovered women's true opinions regarding make-up and the beauty industry, and it isn't always pretty. The website news. com. au asked a total of 1,898 people about their feelings on how attractive they felt without make-up on and if they believed the extensive cosmetic advertising campaigns.

A heavily pregnant woman and her husband were arrested on prostitution charges after an undercover officer responded to a money-for-sex ad on popular classified advertising Website craigslist. org. According to the officials, the advertisement posted by the couple demanded $300 in lieu of sex with the pregnant lady. "She advertised that she was pregnant and married," Cpl. Sara Schriver, county police spokesman said, adding that her husband was aware of the ad and that he acted as pimp.

Animal services are up in arms about a Tampa-based fast food restaurant promotional stunt asking customers to dress their cats in specially designed take out bags. The bags were invented after Checkers restaurant saw that Rap Cat, a cat puppet used in Checkers advertising commercials, was gaining popularity.
