In a bout of satire, a Dutch design student set-up a fake online agency proposing advertising space on beer, cars and prostitutes' thighs and cleavage. On Raoul Balai's website www. instoresnow. nl, he also suggested painting brand names on zoo animals and huge billboards floating on beaches to get attention.

A British television advert for a hair-loss treatment endorsed by Australian cricketer Shane Warne was found in breach of industry rules Wednesday. According to a Reuters report, the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) said the advert for Advanced Hair Studio was at fault because it had used a celebrity to endorse a treatment that involved medicine.

According to Red Bull advertising campaigns the energy drink "gives you wings," and apparently it's not just limited to people, a trailer containing $100,000 worth of Red Bull energy drinks apparently grew wings and disappeared too. A truck driver reported last weekend that his 53-foot trailer containing 2,880 cases of the popular drink went missing.

Advertisements for an online betting Web site have been banned after industry critics determined they were targeting 16 and 17 year olds by showing scantily clad women. ThePool. com distributed pamphlets that featured images of barely clothed young women and used the slogan: "Why wait 'til 18? Bet at 16. "

It's a "factual reality" that beans make you break wind, says South Africa's advertising watchdog. A TV advert for sweet onions showed a rugby player eating beans that made him smell "stinky. " The advert claims that "with sweet onions there are no tears, no burn and definitely no stink. "
