In an attempt to better understand what their dogs barking is all about, several dog owners have been given lessons in order to learn how to translate their pets' woofs from their bow wows. A British vet and dog behaviorist is training pet owners to give them expert advice in order to cut down on the number of complaints received by local authorities by noisy dogs.

Manila's bus and taxi drivers have been given a friendly reminder to bathe and shower on a daily basis, due to an overwhelming amount of complaints by local commuters who are fed up with the smell at the front of buses, taxis, and trains, saying that the city's 30,000 drivers simply stink. Bayani Fernando, chairperson of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, says, "We understand that drivers must earn money to support themselves and their respective families.

There may be evidence to suggest that children as young as three years old may already be "classifying" people. According to Lord Herman Ouseley, the former chairman of the Commission for Racial Equality, children need to "play together right from day one," to avoid becoming racists.
