Over 180 Santas and little elves from around the world to ended their annual meeting in Denmark by parading around the world's oldest theme park. Even with the temperatures in the 90s, the Santas paraded around Bakken, a Christmas-decorated park, in their wintry red outfits.

Hong Kong motorists could face fines for leaving their engines idling. A new law is being considered to help reduce the city's pollution problem. The legislation was announced as air quality monitors recorded "very high" pollution over the city for the second day in a row. That particular category carries with it an automatic health warning to patients with respiratory and heart problems.

London, UK (AHN)-The biggest gathering of spoon players has set the world record. An estimated 345 people played out the pub favourite "Knees Up Mother Brown" for a panel of adjudicators in Trowbridge, southwest England. The multitude was gathered by the amateur street theatre group Stripey-Jumper.

A team of researchers have discovered an ancient link with an animal long gone. The scientists from Uppsala University in Sweden have uncovered a strand of DNA, believed to be 400,000 years old.
