Several fingers and intestines were all that was left of a gamekeeper in South African when he was eaten by six lions. Authorities said the 49-year-old man was working at the Uitspan game farm in northwest South Africa Tuesday when he entered the cage of the lions to give them water. No witness saw the attack on the man who had been working in the farm for two years. The incident was only discovered when his co-workers discovered his fingers and intestines inside the cage. Police said the farm is home to lions and other animals that are put on display for tourists' viewing. Officials from the environmental affairs office arrived in the game farm to discuss what course of action will be taken against the lions. |
