Discount air carrier, Spirit Airlines, has received multiple complaints after announcing its "The Hunt for Hoffa" game. The game was based on the FBI's decades-old search for missing Teamsters president, Jimmy Hoffa, which recently involved a search of a farm in Milford Township, near Detroit.

Owner To Get Back Motorcycle Stolen In 1971

Authorities recovered a motorcycle that was stolen in 1971 and plan to return it to its original owner this week. The 1970 Yamaha was about to be shipped overseas to a Finnish man who bought it for $1,725 on eBay in September. During the shipping process, the vehicle identification number turned up in the database of the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Long Beach police still had the theft report and tracked down the original owner, Phillip McKeen, who lives in New England. Police officials plan to return the 360cc bike to McKeen on Wednesday.

SITA, a Switzerland-based technology consultant for the airline industry discovered the world's airlines booked nearly 2 billion passengers who checked 3. 7 billion bags prior to boarding, however airlines mishandled about 1 percent.

A Dutch airline says no piece of luggage can be worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. KLM has been fined $238,000 by a court in the Philippines for losing a passenger's bag - a KLM record. The incident occurred eight years ago when the passenger was going from Manila to Kazakhstan to give a lecture at a World Health Organization conference. He wore jeans, a T-shirt and sneakers at the lecture because his luggage was lost, and he claims that damaged his reputation.

Passenger Bites Airline Traveler And Jumps Onto Tarmac

Authorities used a stun gun to subdue a Continental Airlines passenger who bit another traveler and jumped onto the tarmac at Fort Lauderdale airport. The plane had been delayed for about 30 minutes when Troy Rigby, 28, began yelling to get off the Boeing 737, reports The Associated Press.
