One control tower operator thought it was amusing when a United Airlines supervisors called to ask if they saw a spinning saucer shoot into the clouds last fall. Reports of the UFO citing are just now being released. Several United employees, including a pilot, said they saw a saucer-shaped object hover over O'Hare Airport and then disappear into the clouds. Control tower employees said they saw nothing.

Authorities on Tuesday were trying to investigate how several pieces of luggage, belonging to air travelers, were reportedly found in a trash bin behind a Houston pet store. According to Houston television station KRIV, the store's owners discovered 60 to 70 pieces of luggage, which belonged to passengers of Continental Airlines, Lufthansa, British Airways and U. S. Airways.

A Chinese Airline was fined after it sold airline tickets for prices as low as 1 yuan or 13 cents. The discounted flights usually sell for 910 yuan or $116 including taxes. An official from the Jinan Price Buearu said airlines are restricted from offering dicounts for more than 45 percent on the government-set price.

Some 80 live rats caused panic on board a flight in northwest Saudi Arabia after escaping from a passenger's rucksack, the Arab News reported. According to the report, passengers of a Saudi Airlines flight to the city of Tabuk in Saudi Arabia, began panicking after seeing the live rats running on board the plane.

A group of workers at Turkish Airlines were so happy to be rid of the last of a batch of troublesome planes that they sacrificed a camel at Istanbul airport. The national flag-carrier admitted on Wednesday that the staff had slaughtered the dromedary and that chief of the sacrifice-organizing group had been suspended pending an investigation. The incident drew worldwide attention after Turkish newspapers carried pictures of the festooned camel before sacrifices and then the beast chopped up into meat chunks.
