United Airlines flight from Memphis to Chicago was diverted to Indianapolis due to the actions of one unruly passenger. Christopher T. Dennis was arrested by Indianapolis International Airport police after the plane was diverted to Indiana due to a combination of the man's behavior and a need to refuel the plane.

Regional authorities in Peru said a mysterious illness struck southern country after a meteorite crashed near the area Monday. According to reports, the villagers were startled when a blaze occurred in the high Andes district of Puno in Desaguadero region. Many first suspected that an airplane crashed near Bolivia border.

A solo physician flying a one-seat plane across Mississippi had the shock of his flying career when he discovered a gray rattle snake aboard. Dr. Ed Carruth noticed the reptile as it began "licking" his arm.

A 22-year-old Saudi man was stopped at Cairo airport after boarding an airplane bound to Saudi Arabia, when his carry-on bags were found to have been filled with live snakes, baby crocodiles and chameleons. According to security officials, they became suspicious when the man's bags were taken to the X-ray machine and found odd readings. Police officials opened the bags and found large number of reptiles with one cobra, trying to escape.

Airport police are investigation how a man from Lima, Peru, boarded a flight to Fort Lauderdale, Fla. , Tuesday with a small monkey hidden under his hat. The monkey, now nicknamed named "Spirit," could have easily gone unnoticed if he hadn't popped out of his owner's head and spotted by the other passengers in the plane.
