Albuquerque, NM police found a sixth set of human remains in the desert just west of the city.
The latest set of bones were found Tuesday and police think all the victims were placed in the desert by the same person.
Only one set of remains has been identified so far.
Victoria Chavez, a known drug addict and prostitute who went missing in 2004, was identified by dental records supplied by her family. Police found her remains intact in an 18 inch deep grave without any clothing or other items.
Hikers first spotted bones scattered across a 100-square-foot area that had recently been cleared by bulldozers in preparation for building a housing development. They alerted police who began searching the area.
Police are trying to identify the victims and figure out who might be a suspect in the deaths.
