A 74-year-old man from man Pennsylvania's Susquehanna Township was recently charged with his second drunken driving while he was on his way to be present in court for his first drunken driving hearing. Police on Tuesday arrested Anthony R. Lilly after his car struck into a guardrail when he was en route driving for a hearing on a Feb. 8 drunken-driving arrest. This was the third time Lilly was charged for Driving Under Influence of alcohol.

A Woodinville woman possibly created a state record for highest blood alcohol content ever found in an individual when she registered a . 47 on a breath test. The alcohol content of Deana F. Jarrett, who was arrested last week following two car crashes last week, was nearly six times the legal intoxication threshold.

Jeffrey Francis Cullen, a Vietnam war veteran, was sentenced to five months in prison and was put on five years of intensive probation after a Mohave County Judge found him guilty of aggravated assault against firefighters. The incident dates back to August last year when a fire crew went to Cullen's home to extinguish an alleged tree fire reported by him but instead found a cat stuck on the tree and Cullen demanding to rescue it. According to police reports, Cullen, 59, told firefighters he had wanted a cat rescued from his tree and knew they would only respond to a fire call.

Police arrested a West Monroe man for driving a lawn mower while intoxicated over the weekend. Ouachita Parish sheriff's deputies booked Larry Minniefield on one count of driving while under the influence of alcohol and driving an unsafe vehicle. The 48-year-old man was later freed on $650 bond after he was booked into Ouachita Correctional Center. The matter came into picture when deputies were working another complaint Friday night and noticed Minniefield drive by on a John Deere lawnmower.

A man who cleverly tried to escape the drunken-driving charge eventually landed himself in further trouble after he called the same person for help whose identity he had faked. Sebastian Nabor, 28, was charged with criminal impersonation for using his brother's name to avoid a DWI (Driving While Intoxicated) charge. According to authorities, Sebastian was arrested driving early Sunday after an officer saw him hitting the curb. On closer approach, the officer smelled alcohol and found an open container of beer in the car, the Texarkana Gazette reports.
