An angry passenger threw his prosthetic legs at an Oregon state trooper who stopped the driver for traveling in the wrong direction. State trooper, Don Newcomb, asked the motorist to get out of his SUV after he allegedly detected alcohol on his breath.

Comments made by skier Bode Miller may force him off of the United States Ski Team. Miller's ski Team is upset about comments made at the end of the interview, in which he alluded to skiing while intoxicated.

Workplace alcohol use and impairment directly affects an estimated 15 percent of the U. S. workforce, or 19. 2 million workers, according to a recent study conducted at the University at Buffalo's Research Institute on Addictions (RIA) and published in the current issue of the Journal of Studies on Alcohol. Survey participants were asked how often during the previous year they drank alcohol within two hours of reporting to work, drank during the workday, worked under the influence or worked with a hangover.

Dutch troops aiding earthquake survivors in Pakistan have been complaining that while they are not allowed to consume alcohol, Spanish and British soldiers (who are allowed) have been ridiculing and taunting them while at campfires. A soldier says, "We were told before we arrived that alcohol was banned in this country or else very difficult to get hold of and we accepted this. "

A couple accused of abusing their 11 adopted special-needs kids by making them sleep in cages took time to defend their actions but say they're willing to give up the cages in order to get their children back. Michael and Sharen Gravelle say they will be more lenient and send the once home-schooled children to public school. The kids now have a string of health and behavioral problems.
