A man driving under the influence of alcohol drove his SUV right into a bedroom, sending the empty bed flying up in the air. According to police reports, 33-year-old Eric Sullivan plowed his Jeep Cherokee through the house of a total stranger early Tuesday morning. The impact left a large hole in the wall of the bedroom of 61-year-old Gloria Jimenez. WFTV News reported that investigators found almost everything inside the house relatively intact, except for the gaping hole left by the SUV. Jimenez was left unscathed, as she was sleeping in another room in the house when the accident happened, according to UPI.

A dog was taken to a local veterinary clinic in Austria with the animal displaying symptoms including constant vomiting and swaying side to side. The vet said it was apparent the dog was drunk. "When I got him up on the table, it smelled like a distillery," said Karl Hofbauer of the Oberoesterreichische Nachrichten in the Salzkammergut region.

A computer technician driving on the directions of a rental car's Global Positioning System found himself jumping out of the way as a train came barreling through his vehicle. The driver, Bo Bai, on the orders of the GPS system, turned his vehicle right, crossing train tracks. Upon doing so, the car was caught on the tracks, as the Harlem line train was chugging towards it. Bai attempted to wave to the engineer, but failed to catch his attention.

A fistfight at an American station at the South Pole which erupted over a woman resulted to the sacking of an Antarctic base worker on top of $90,000 medical bill. According to reports by the Daily Telegraph, the fracas, which happened at America's Amundsen-Scott station, may been caused by a heated discussion over a woman although authorities were not discounting the fact it might have also been caused by alcohol and cabin fever resulting from Antarctica's biting cold.

India has finally come of age and finally abolished a 93-year-old law banning women from tendering bars and entertaining guests. The Supreme Court of India on Thursday annulled the 1914 statute, giving women the equal opportunity to enter bartending, one of the more lucrative jobs in the India's thriving economy.
