Police had an easy time arresting an alleged robber from Missoula, Montana when he was found asleep in the basement of the same house he robbed some time ago.
Iam D. Wright was found lying on the floor early Thursday next to a black bag which contained all the items he robbed last night including stereo equipment, a backpack and a wallet.
The matter came into light when one of the residents of the building reported to police after discovering a man in their basement. Police found Wright with his eyes closed and he did not respond to them until he was threatened with a weapon.
According to AP reports, when he was forced to wake up, Wright told police he was drunk and had passed out after a party at the home. However, the homeowners claim they never hosted any such party.
Police charged Wright with felony theft and burglary after they found other items with him that didn't belong to the couple. Wright, who might be responsible for other burglaries and thefts in the area, remains jailed on $2,500 bail.
