A 46-year-old man accused of robbing a store on Saturday apparently got thirsty and was hence arrested about 15 minutes later at a bar less than a mile away.

The man, who is from New Holstein, is accused of robbing a Dollar General Store at knifepoint. He was taken into custody by police without incident at Kiel, in eastern Wisconsin, about 20 miles northwest of Sheboygan.

According to AP reports, the police was alerted by a store clerk around 3:15 p.m. who called 911 to report the robbery of about $200 in cash. Police said that the clerk, who was not hurt in the incident, provided descriptions of the suspect and his vehicle, including its license plate.

Police tracked the alleged robber's vehicle to the nearby tavern, where he was sitting at the bar. He was being held Saturday night at the Manitowoc County Jail.
