According to The New York Daily News, the 1,300 pound bottle contains nearly 64 gallons of wine, enough to relieve thirst of half of Long Island. Kim Bullock, the creator of wine said, "I've gotten lots of offers for it, and I've turned down one for $100 000. "

The American Kennel Club(R) announced on Monday that the Yorkshire Terrier, fondly called the "Yorkie" by millions of enthusiasts, has taken the number two spot as the most popular purebred dog in America. The Yorkshire Terrier beat out the beloved Golden Retriever and the iconic German Shepherd Dog to become the second most popular purebred dog in America according to AKC(R) registration figures. The Labrador Retriever is the most popular purebred dog in the country once again -- a spot it has held since 1991.

A 67-year-old Spanish woman has reportedly given birth to twins by Cesarean section. The twins were delivered at the Barcelona Hospital de Sant Pau and were doing well. According to AFP news, hospital spokeswomen neither revealed the identity of the woman and her offspring, nor the sex of the twins on grounds of patient confidentiality.

A U. S. military nurse who cared for Saddam Hussein in jail threw light on the softer side of the person deemed responsible for taking the lives of hundreds of people. The nurse said Hussein actually saved bread crusts to feed birds and was a very cooperative person. Master Sgt. Robert Ellis cared for the disgraced leader from January 2004 until August 2005 at Camp Cropper. Ellis said Hussein also watered weeds in a jail garden and drank coffee while smoking cigars to keep his blood pressure down.
