With the arrival of October comes the return of costume shops, pumpkins, and store shelves stocked with all things ghostly and haunting. It's the month that brings Halloween, a holiday that one survey finds Americans will increase their spending on this year.
A survey conducted for the National Retail Federation finds consumers expect to spend nearly $3.33 billion for Halloween this year - an increase of nearly 5.5 percent from last year.
