An activist for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) was arrested Wednesday afternoon in downtown Minneapolis, not for her protesting, but for her chosen attire, or lack there of, while doing it. A nude Michelle Y. Cho, 24, of Los Angeles, while protesting outside the Minnesota Pork Congress, labeled her exposed body parts to represent cuts of meat and sat below a banner reading, "All Animals Have the Same Parts. Go Vegetarian. "

A Los Angeles school bus driver is forced to drive a hijacker about 200 miles. No children were aboard, and the driver was unharmed throughout the ordeal. The man, appearing armed, approached the driver about 5 a. m. at a bus yard in an L. A. suburb ordering her to drive to Bakersfield. More than 200 partiers dressed like Saint Nick gathered in Los Angeles to do some pretty unsaintly things in the name of Santacon. It's a spontaneous, rollicking piece of performance art that, depending on who you ask, is known as Santacon (for "Santa Convention"), Santarchy (think anarchy), or Santa Rampage. The fun-loving Santas swarmed Los Angeles subways, sidewalks and bars doing some un-Santa-like things in the name of meaningless fun, the Los Angeles Times reported. Those in costume doled out oddities such as old credit cards and ramen noodles as Christmas gifts to passersby Saturday. They even stopped at bars to have a few drinks. Most onlookers say they were very amused.
