French anti-fur activists struck a Vogue editor in the face with a cream pie. Anna Wintour, editor of the U. S. edition of Vogue, was attacked for her support of the use of animal fur by the fashion industry. Wintour was hit in the face with a tofu cream pie as she left the Chloe fashion ready-to-wear show at the Tuileries Gardens in central Paris. It was the second such attack this year on on the Vogue Editrix, who is an unapologetic fur supporter according to animal rights groups and even has the nickname "pelt pusher".
