Apple Inc. has rejected an iPhone application that puts a person's face within a religious figure, including Jesus Christ, finding it objectionable.
The application called "Me So Holy" was rejected because it does not conform with Apple's iPhone agreement provision against obscene, pornographic, offensive or defamatory content or materials of any kind, the unnamed app developer said in a blog on Monday, according to Businessinsider.com.
The developer goes on to complain that the decision makes Apple a nanny and tastemaster for its iPhone app store.
The developer, who also made the Animalizer app, described Me So Holy as a non-violent, religion-based app and asked if this should be placed in the same category as the violent apps Baby Shaker and Nine Inch Nails.
