In November 18, 1942, Ernest Glenn Munn, 23, of St. Clairsville, Ohio left Sacramento, California for a training flight aboard an AT-7 navigational trainer plane together with three other companions from the army air corps. They never came back. Sixty five years later in August of last year, campers in a remote area of Kings Canyon sought the help of rangers as they discovered a frozen, decomposing body atop of a glacier. Not far away from the body is an un-launched military parachute.

An error caused by a satellite navigation system sent Army tanks looking for their barracks to a tiny village in Shropshire. Residents of Donnington were dumbfounded upon seeing rows of Army tanks entering their peaceful village.

The Army Corps of Engineers has received more than $3 quadrillion in bills from victims of the 2005 Hurricane Katrina. Although about 489,000 people have filed damage claims, one filed from an area nearly a 100 miles from the hurricane's center is causing jaws to drop. A resident of Baker, La. is demanding the U. S. government pay $3 quadrillion. Last year, the nation produced $13. 2 trillion of goods and services. According to the AP, a stack of $3 quadrillion worth of pennies would stretch to Saturn.

After 16 years, a group of doctors finally relieved an ageing Croatian soldier of piercing stomach pains by removing a four-inch needle accidentally left inside his stomach when he was operated upon by a group of army doctors for wounds he sustained in the battlefield during the Yugoslavian civil war. Toma Zupan. Now 73, was seriously injured in 1991 after a civil war erupted during the break up of the former Yugoslavia.

A 23-year old female recruit who underwent breast implant is appealing to military authorities for reinstatement after she was booted out of army training in Germany for have boob job. Alessija Dorfmann, who has cup D after the operation, claims she was devastated after being kicked out of the army training as it has it been always her dream to be a soldier with a great figure.
