A court orders Salsa instructors in Hong Kong to return $8 million to a well-known banker for lessons she never received. Monica Wong, 61, agreed to pay $15. 4 million to dance teachers Mirko Saccani and his wife, Gaynor Fairweather, for unlimited private lessons and competitions from 2004 until 2012. Wong is the head of HSBC's private banking unit in Asia and the daughter of a shipping tycoon.

The U. S. Elephant Polo Team is gearing up for its first match. The team seems to be the first U. S. team to enter the six-day tournament. To put together the first team, organizers placed an ad on Craigslist. com. In about two weeks, they'll be traveling to Hua Hin, Thailand, for their first match. But for now, they're practicing. The only problem? The elphants are in Asia. So, for now, players are practicing with a ball and mallet while standing on part of a swing set and an electrical utility box to simulate an elephant's weight. They're also doing what they can to raise money to cover the $12,000 entry fee into the competition.

Denmark is the happiest country in the world, a British scientist who has prepared a world map of happiness has claimed. While Burundi in Africa is the most unhappy as per the map produced by Adrian White, Analytic Social Psychologist at the University of Leicester. According to the study, the research based its view on the fact that happiness is found to be most closely associated with health, followed by wealth and education.

The police in Rapu-Rapu Island, Albay province in the Philippines have detained a Greenpeace Southeast Asia staff who was caught collecting water samples from a creek near the controversial Lafayette mine site. A report by the Philippine Daily Inquirer said, GP-SEA campaigns director Von Hernandez identified the arrested environmentalist as David Andrade.

A farmer in a Kazakhstan village claims his chicken laid an egg with the word "Allah" written on its shell. Bites Amantayeva, from the village of Stepnoi in eastern Kazakhstan, tells state news agency Kazinform, "Our mosque confirmed that it says 'Allah' in Arabic. "
