After seeing their king leaving a hospital last month in a pink shirt and blazer, Thais are rushing in to stores to get their own pink apparel in what appears to be the latest fashion craze in Thailand. According to Phufa fashion chain, they have sold more than 40,000 pink shirts last month alone.

The last two speakers of an indigenous Mexican language have stopped talking to each other, raising fears that the language will become extinct. The two men in their 70s from the village of Ayapan, Tabasco, in southern Mexico, are the only remaining speakers of their local version of the Zoque language.

A group of crayfish almost successfully escaped from being served as a sumptuous meal for seafood lovers until they were captured by on-lookers. According to a local paper, the crayfish were already scuttling down the street when they were noticed by authorities on-lookers who promptly informed authorities.

n Tuesday, the conservative island republic of Singapore relaxed some of its more stringent laws criminalizing certain types of intercourse, but did not lift sex laws pertaining to homosexuals. In what was the conservative Asian nation's first amendment to a major penal code in some 22 years, Singapore's parliament repealed a section criminalizing "carnal intercourse against the order of nature," which includes oral sex, but refused to budge on code 377A, which makes sex between men a criminal offense.
