Superstition is now playing a key role as the world begins to unite in protest against the recent brutal crackdown in Myanmar. Women have been sending their underwear to Burma or its embassies outside the country as a sign of protest. Liz Hilton, a supporter of an activist group that started the "Panties for Peace" campaign, said that sending women's undergarments was a strong message in Burmese and in all South East Asian Culture.

fficials in China are getting creative in an effort to try to attract more tourists to the vast Asian nation. In an effort to ramp up their tourism industry, Chinese officials announce they are seeking capital to build the world's first "women's only" town in the 2. 3-square-km Longshuihu village in the Shuangqiao district of Chongqing. The so-called women's only town is based on the concept that women come first-and men must obey a women's order or face punishment for disobedience.

Malaysian authorities have boosted security for its two special "four-legged" investigators for they are feared to be potential targets of the country's piracy syndicates. The floppy eared investigators are actually a pair of sniffer dogs that the country has recently loaned from Ireland for a month trial in order to break down the DVD piracy racket. Lucky and Flo, the pair of black Labrador Retrievers, are notably the first animals trained to detect optical discs by their scent.

Israeli ambassador to El Salvador Tsuriel Raphael has been removed from his post after the long-time diplomat was found drunk and naked, wearing only bondage gear. Israeli Ministry spokeswoman Zehavit Ben-Hillel confirmed the removal of Raphael after El Salvador police found the ambassador outside his residence in the Israeli embassy compound bound, gagged, drunk and naked, except for several sex toys he was reportedly wearing at the time.

Sharon Naismith, 45, was caught in June 2005 when custom officers at Melbourne airport smelled something fishy about her. The Australian woman was caught smuggling 51 live exotic Asian fish under her skirt and on Friday she was sentenced to nine months of community service. According to officials at Australian Customs, officers became suspicious of Naismith after they heard some "flipping" noises coming from her clothes. A search found a multi-pocketed apron carrying 15 plastic bags filled with water and fish under her skirt, according to AP reports.
