A saltwater crocodile in Australia spent overnight in jail for troublemaking.
Authorities in Nhulunbuy, Northern Australia were forced to lock the crocodile in an unused cell after finding no other options to hold off the seven-foot reptile. Police responded to reports about a crocodile harassing fishermen at a local boat ramp.
The crocodile was about 30 meters from the ramp when the police arrived.
They waited for nightfall before they could capture the beast. Under police custody, the crocodile was wrapped in a blanket and kept wet by hosing with water.
The trouble-making reptile was transferred to a nearby crocodile farm the following day.
