Firefighters had no other choice but to cut a portion of a bathroom apart, when a 700-pound woman got stuck into it and called for help.

The woman, identified as Patty Brown, called emergency services in Trenton, New Jersey, late on Monday after falling in the second-floor bathroom after being unable to get up on Tuesday.

Help arrived in some time and rescue crews decided to cut off an exterior wall and remove a window before lowering her to the ground. It became increasingly difficult for medical personnel to move her, and three fire engines and some 25 officers were dispatched to get the bulky woman moving.

She was lowered down a specially reinforced ladder to the ground outside and then moved to a stretcher with the help of around 10 firefighters.

Hospital authorities arranged for a stretcher specially equipped for very large people. She was then taken to a local hospital and is currently doing fine.
