Despite parents always telling their children to stop watching television, a new network aims to start gathering viewers from birth.

BabyFirstTV will be the first channel to offer 24-7 programming aimed at infants, when it launches this month.

A channel executive, Sharon Rechter, explains BabyFirstTV will be the first channel that allows for parents and babies to "interact."

The channel will debut on satellite television for $9.99 a month, and later expand to cable channels as well.
