Criminals do stupid things all the time, but what happened during a bank robbery in Columbus, Mississippi might take the top prize for the week.
Terrell Green, 26, of Jackson, Mississippi was charged robbing the local Trustmark Bank.
How did police find him? Oh you know, he left his wallet and identification at the scene of the crime.
"A man walked into the bank wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and sunglasses, and handed the teller a note from his wallet demanding money," says Police Lt. Tom Thompson.
"After the teller asked what she should do with the money, the man gave her a white pillowcase, which she filled with seven $100 bills, 17 $50 bills and numerous smaller bills and a dye pack."
Green made one crucial mistake. He left his wallet on the counter in front of the teller.
Police arrested Green at his mother's home and is currently in jail being held without bond.
