A Florida man suspected of robbing a bank was arrested after several witnesses reported seeing a drunken man covered in red dye.
Pinellas County sheriff's detectives think a homeless 53-year-old man, Michael Prance, robbed Seminole's RBC Bank Thursday, escaping with the bank's cash, the St. Petersburg Times reported.
The evening of the bank robbery, police received a call from a resident at the Caribbean Mobile Home Park in Seminole, complaining of a drunken man at the pool. Witnesses report told police he stumbled around the pool with a bottle of red wine and red dye covering his clothes. He left after the residents confronted him.
Later that evening, police received a call from a bus driver, who reported seeing the same belligerent man at a bus stop in front of Seminole Subs, the UPI reported.
When police arrived, Prance was found holding a bad filled with money stained with red dye-the exact amount missing from the bank.
Prance was arrested and charged with bank robbery and disorderly intoxication.
