A company in South Korea has introduced diamond-encrusted credit cards for the VVIP clients. GK Power has developed the high end luxury card which is studded with 1mm by 1. 65mm diamonds into a silver rivet on a highly glossy black card.

The Swansea Crown Court in Wales has sentenced a production manager to a one year jail term after it found him guilty of lying that his daughter had "cancer" just to get two months leave of absence with full pay and entitlement to huge expense claims from his employer. Kevin Parry, 46, who admitted a total of 30 deception charges, was also ordered to pay back his employer and was asked to render 200 hours community work. He was likewise prohibited from applying for any job in the country for a period of two years.

South Korea has sparked a gender row following its decision to print banknotes featuring the face of a woman who symbolizes motherhood in the country. The country's Central Bank has chosen to print the new 50,000 won note with the image of Shin Saimdang, the first woman to feature in the country's currency notes.

A 22-year-old new mother wanted to hit two birds with one stone but health authorities got in the way of her plans. Martha Heller tried to sell 100 ounces (2. 8 liters) of her breast milk for $200 or to the highest bidder and even posted a newspaper ad to entice buyers. In the end, health authorities took notice and her milk ended up in the University of Iowa's Mother's Milk Bank.

A former Melbourne inmate has decided to buy his own former cell in a prison building which is now being converted into a residential and commercial complex. Graeme Alford, a former lawyer, had spent several years in Pentridge prison for embezzlement and robbery after his life spiraled out of control as a result of drinking and gambling. He had started stealing from trust funds and even attempted a failed bank robbery.
