A Greek bank robber used ninja throwing stars to heist 11 small suburban bank branches and taking off with a total of $63,590. Petros Onen, 49, threatened to use razor-sharp, palm-size stars like the ones carried by Japanese ninja warriors against cashiers.

A bank in Japan finds a great way to bring in more customers - give away free money. Banks in the country have long fought for new customers. Ogaki Kyoritsu Bank Ltd says since it announced that customers can win money by playing a roulette game at its ATMs, they have seen a surge in new accounts.

The "senior citizen bandit" has pleaded guilty to at least 10 counts of armed robbery. He also pleaded guilty to one firearms count after robbing banks in three Western states,. According to Assistant U. S. Attorney, Ivy Wang Charles Manrow, a 70-year-old robber from Pennsylvania, will be sentenced early next year after entering a plea on August 10. Manrow is linked to robberies in Southern California, Fresno, Utah and Arizona.

A Swiss Bank offered an 85-year-old woman a bouquet of flowers after she was left in the vault as the bank closed. According to a statement released by the Zuercher Kantonalbank on Wednesday the woman was so caught in her thoughts that she initially failed to activate the sensors and employees at the bank apparently forgot about her.

A Los Angeles man is suing a sperm bank for negligence and emotional distress after discovering a hidden camera in the ceiling of the sperm bank's "donation room. " In a June 2005 visit to Pasadena's Pacific Reproductive Services, 27-year-old Ken Rigberg discovered the pinhole camera.
