A man faked his death 25 years ago to avoid paying child support. For his earnest effort he is in jail and has been slapped with $30,000 in fines. According to reports, Johnny Sterling Martin, 58, had a relative call Family Court in 1979 and report that he died during a bar fight in Alabama.

A man is charged with robbing a restaurant after its employees chased him down and gave him a beating with branches and pool cues. Late Friday, two men wearing ski masks came into Palomas Restaurant and Cantina armed with handguns and swiped $170 as employees were cleaning up.

A judge who caught a man consuming alcohol an hour after sentencing him for drunken driving sends him to rehab. Jacob Vandeven, 27, pled guilty before Judge William Syler to a reduced charge of misdemeanor driving while intoxicated for causing an accident with injuries.
