A former Kansas bar owner is sentenced to nearly four years in prison, after a woman dies of alcohol poisoning from a signature drink. Prosecutors say 31-year-old Juanita Goodpasture died after she was served a red, yellow and green mixed drink called the "Stoplight Challenge. "

A Roman Catholic priest is taking a new approach to expanding his congregation, by booking four talks at a local bar in a bid to reach out to 20-and 30-somethings who do not go to church. Yes, alcohol will be served. The St. Marie Parish's first presentation, "Naked and Without Shame," took place Thursday and dealt with the Catholic views on sexuality, contraception and sex and marriage.

Hustler Magazine Publisher Larry Flynt announces Sunday his plans today for a chain of casual themed restaurants; Hustler Bar and Grille. Las Vegas may soon become home to the first Hustler Bar and Grille. The company is currently seeking a location on the Las Vegas strip. "We've invited hoteliers and developers to contact us with possible locations" says Brad Saltzman, Hustler Bar and Grille's President.

Three New Orleans police officers are facing charges after a violent arrest and a confrontation with a journalist outside a bar Saturday night. The incident was captured on videotape. It shows at least one officer repeatedly punching a 64-year-old man who was accused of public intoxication. Another officer is then seen shoving a producer for Associated Press Television News.
