Toy manufacturer Mattel has announced on Wednesday the popular doll Barbie will have a pet dog.

A spokesman for the company said the pet dog named Tanner, not only eats, but also does toy poos.

The $23 Tanner comes complete with a brown plastic "biscuits" that is fed to the dog, which it then discharges from its backside.

Of course, Barbie will have to clean-up her pet's poo, so the doll is equipped with magnetic pooper-scoop and dustbin, according to the Sun.
