According to the World Naked Bike Ride Website, the annual ride is held in cities all over the world "to celebrate cycling and the human body. The ride demonstrates the vulnerability of cyclists on the road and is a protest against oil dependency. "

A 21-year-old prankster suffered deep cuts in his bare buttocks after pressing them against a restaurant window, breaking the glass. According to local authorities, the man, along with two other friends, decided to run around the area with their pants down and their bottoms exposed.

A construction worker buried under a wall of mud managed to survive the ordeal, allegedly through the act of meditation and positive thinking. The worker, 52-year old Wang Jianxin, was reportedly digging a ditch in eastern China when the wall came down on him, with him being buried with nothing other than his safety helmet for protection.

A Kenyan man killed a lion with his bare hands in Samburu, about 260 kilometers northeast of the capital Nairobi, only to be attacked by a pack of hyenas a few moments later, the country's media reported Tuesday. He succumbed to his injuries and died in hospital Monday.
