The Travel Trade Gazette recently released a collection of confused hotel notices and menus that tourists have spotted while traveling. The list includes a restaurant in Latvia which offers "Pigeon's Milk" for dessert and for the main course, a "Grilled Surgeon. " In Poland, one of the diners offer "Roasted Duck Let Loose," and "Beer Rashers Beaten In The Country People's Fashion. "

Australian power supplier, Energy Australia, is asking the public to stop singing while taking a shower in an attempt to save on electricity and water. The company said singing while taking a bath adds an extra 9. 08 minutes to shower bath and shower time. It listed activities such as singing, daydreaming, shaving and other "nonessential activities" in the shower, are adding to power bills and contribute to global warming.

Bringing their favorite chips and curry meal to the World Cup, reports indicate that England fans wanting a taste of their favorite take out meal are paying over $2,000 to have it flown to Germany. Bombay Nights, in Bath, England is sending out truck loads of the meal for the English fans ahead of their game against Trinidad and Tobago.

Manila's bus and taxi drivers have been given a friendly reminder to bathe and shower on a daily basis, due to an overwhelming amount of complaints by local commuters who are fed up with the smell at the front of buses, taxis, and trains, saying that the city's 30,000 drivers simply stink. Bayani Fernando, chairperson of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, says, "We understand that drivers must earn money to support themselves and their respective families.

Local police are investigating the theft of more than $1,500 worth of sex toys stolen during the Southeastern Erotic Cultural Conference in Jacksonville over the weekend. The victims are three women who were selling the adult novelties at the convention being held at the Radisson Riverwalk Hotel.
