In a move to preserve the tranquility of the sandy beaches in France's capital Paris, the City hall has issued a decree banning 'indecent clothing'. Under the decree, sunbathers will not be allowed to go nude or topless on the beaches and if they are caught in topless or nude condition then they will be fined.

After thirty Scandinavian women went topless on an Albanian beach resort, the Albanian police were left speechless. A local newspaper in the town of Sarande said, "Police only watched . . . they could not approach the tourists because they spoke no English. "

The beaches of Italy offer a wide variety of facilities including loungers, umbrellas, ice cream and a chance to get a massage or a tattoo. However, the Adriatic resort of Pescara is now offering a new attraction - the singularly unique opportunity to wipe away the sinful hangover from the previous night's partying. Don Vito Canto, 33, who is a priest from a village near Pescara, said he listened to confessions "almost uninterruptedly" from Saturday night through Sunday morning at a improvised shrine on the sands of the beaches.

A nude sunbather is suing for the right to bask "au naturel" with his rat terrier, Cheekies, at his side. The man claims that the dog should be allowed with him because he suffers form post-traumatic stress disorder. Former bodybuilder Mark DelCore, says sunbathing is a great for a skin condition he developed after exposure to World Trade Center toxins while leaving a lower Manhattan gym.

In a bout of satire, a Dutch design student set-up a fake online agency proposing advertising space on beer, cars and prostitutes' thighs and cleavage. On Raoul Balai's website www. instoresnow. nl, he also suggested painting brand names on zoo animals and huge billboards floating on beaches to get attention.
