Archaeologists have discovered a 2,400-year old golden treasure in an antique Thracian tomb, in eastern Bulgaria. According to the director of the Bulgaria's History Museum, a team of archaeologists discovered the treasure late on Saturday.

Two New Mexico motels are the vicitims of a bear break-in over two consecutive days: one in a Raton motel Monday; the other sabotaged a Taos Ski Valley motel. Officials say the bear that broke into the Raton motel was probably lured by the smell of fresh popcorn.

Yukon, the 16-year-old polar bear, had a tooth pulled Thursday at The Seneca Park Zoo. Veterinarians used a hammer and chisel to remove an infected tooth they believe has given the bear a bad case of bad breath.

A surrogate mother in Belgium is under investigation for allegedly selling her baby girl over the internet for $24,000 to a Dutch couple. The baby, named Donna, was born in February. The surrogate mother had agreed to bear the baby for a Belgian couple for nearly $13,000.
