After inmates at the Dallas County Detention Center set fire to the jail in a breakout attempt, authorities decided to include a lesson in the extensive repairs that were needed to get the building back into shape. Dallas County Sheriff Mike Rackley says if the inmates are going to act like children, they should be treated like children. So he is having the jail painted pink with blue teddy bear accents. Rackley tells the AP: "Basically, if they are going to act like children and commit a childish act, then we'll make a childish atmosphere. And it's a calming thing - teddy bears are so soothing. So we made it like a day care, and that's kind of like what it is, a day care for adults who can't control their behavior in public. "
