The "Polar Bear Jail" in the Canadian town of Churchill will be expanding to house more wayward carnivores. According to press reports, the facility was built in 1980 in the polar bear capital of the world.

Spectators watched as a bear cub snacked on barbecue-chicken and jalapeno pizza in a parking lot on Sunday. According to press reports, the vehicle's owner stated that the cub also had a Jack Daniel's mixer, a beer and an Absolut vodka and tonic.

A bear cub wandering a Lake Tahoe neighborhood drew a crowd as it snacked on pizza, before washing it down with some alcohol while sitting at the back seat of a red Buick convertible. The bruin was unfazed by the car's horn that blew nonstop as the cub pressed the seat into the steering wheel, the AP reported.

Hunters in the Bavarian Alps shot dead a brown bear, nicknamed Bruno, after spending weeks trying to find it. German authorities had previously declared the bear could be shot dead as it posed a danger to humans.

Call it Goldilocks and the Three Bears in reverse: a woman came home to find a young bear eating oatmeal in her kitchen. According to the Associated Press, local police say the bear apparently made its way through an open sliding glass door, broke a ceramic food container and helped himself.
