A private school in Scotland is trying to save the dying art of penmanship by requiring that all its students write with fountain pens. The school's headmaster fears writing longhand will soon be a mere memory due to computers and text messaging, and he's doing what he can to keep it alive.

" The mother wrote her allegation in a local newspaper report when the doll of her 3-year-old daughter said, "You're a slut. "

Two Swedish border control officers have gotten themselves in a bit of trouble by making a photo album consisting of pictures of "exceptionally beautiful" women who went through their checkpoint. The album contained instructions on how to put together the collection and a warning to make backup copies in case it was lost or confiscated by "evil-minded bores," police said.

A cruise packed with attractive women is being offered to eligible bachelors this month in Shanghai -- but only if their bank accounts are big enough. The cruise is being offered to match men making $250,000 or more with women who must be "attractive in every category," said cruise organizer Xu Tianli.

A matchmaking cruise that aims to help male millionaires and beautiful women find each other will be held in China this month, the state-owned China Daily said. To qualify, the male participants must have assets worth at least two million yuan ($250,000) and the women must be "good-looking and desirable.
