House Where Man Was Fatally Stung Had Quarter-Million Bees

Sierra Vista, AZ (AHN)-Exterminators have removed a hive containing an estimated quarter-million Africanized bees from a home near Bisbee, Arizona where a man was fatally stung last week. Three-nine year-old Charlie Pasley died after being stung about 300 times by a swarm of bees as he was working on the roof of his home with his father, 62-year-old Chuck Pasley, who was stung about 100 times but suffered no serious effects.

A Virginia man who had gone to drop off his trash at the Route 41 dump bin was caught to his surprise when he found a 188-year-old King James Bible along with other books in a box meant for disposal. The man, who's fending off offers approaching $1,000, says the price offered for the ancient Bible is not realistic and thus would "hold on to it for now. " In an interview with the Danville Register and Bee, electrician Michael Hoskins, who discovered the rare, ancient Bible, said, "I go up there all the time to drop off my household trash, and there it was. There were three or four boxes of books leaning up against the concrete wall behind the Dumpsters. "

A Florida resident discovered thousands of bees beneath the dog cage that he keeps outside in his backyard. Three of his dogs died and two puppies were fighting for their lives on Monday night after the bee hive was discovered by the resident, who also was reportedly stung in an attack of the bees.
