Most beer lovers like to consume it chilled but a restaurant in Alexandria, Virginia is serving it in a frozen form and its visitors love it.
Rustico Restaurant is selling frozen treats in flavors such as "Raspbeer-y" and "Fudgesicle" to adults only. The new beer on a stick similar to a Popsicle costs $4 for a 6-ounce size and $6 for a larger "beer cone."
According to CBS, the chef who discovered this new delight says it all happened by accident when he put a beer in the freezer to get it cold quickly.
When he took the beer out to serve, the bottle froze solid and he ended up eating it instead of drinking it. He immediately tried the new idea in the restaurant and it became an instant hit; especially when the temperature rises during the summer.
However, the new idea of frozen beer has caused a controversy with state officials in Virginia who call it a violation of state code. According to regulators, the beer must be served in its original container or immediately after it's poured.
